Janet Guptill. MPH is President of KM At Work, a consultancy that develops formal knowledge transfer programs for health care systems, associations, and related organizations to drive performance improvement. Prior to her incorporation of KM At Work, Janet was the Vice President, Knowledge Management for Partners First, a subsidiary of Ascension Health, the largest nonprofit hospital system in the U.S., focused on developing effective physician hospital partnerships. She has held senior level positions in business development, sales, and marketing for Care Science, a clinical decision support company in Philadelphia; for Solucient, a health information company in Chicago; for Ernst & Young, in its national health care strategy practice; and for The University of Chicago Hospitals and Clinics.

Her international consulting experience includes consulting to the Portuguese health system and teaching hospital strategic planning at the University of Lisbon’s School of Public Health, and a consulting project engaging the network of children’s hospitals throughout the United Kingdom in evaluating affiliation with a North America based membership organization of children’s hospitals.

Janet completed a bachelor's degree in health administration from the University of Arizona, a master's degree in health systems management from Tulane University, and an administrative residency with Ochsner Hospital and Clinic in New Orleans. Her clients are drawn from the country’s largest hospital systems and prestigious membership organizations; she is a recognized expert in knowledge management in health care, and she serves as adjunct faculty for Webster University in knowledge management.
