Johnathan has more than 20 years of experience developing applications on a wide variety of operating systems and computers in research environments. He maintains a significant interest in the technology underlying the World Wide Web and creating highly interactive web sites, including: the initial library section, at the Hatfield Marine Science Center: a prototype for the MatheMatrix site, a Perl-driven site that assists math teachers in meeting teaching standards (http://kids.hmsc.orst.edu); and various Perl-driven secure e-commerce retail sites. John is one of the founders and leaders of the Quickdraw Animation Society in Calgary (http://www.awn.com/qas/ ), an artist-run center devoted specifically to the art of animation. John holds a PhD in Neurophysiology from the University of Saskatchewan and completed postdoctoral at the University of Calgary. John worked at Oregon State University and the University of Calgary prior to his work with The NewSof Group.
